Our Mission

In partnership with our community, Harrington School provides all learners with opportunities to acquire the knowledge, skills, and experiences to become independent, self-disciplined and responsible citizens.

Harrington School District has a fairly small student population, and we strive to create a learning environment that allows as much opportunity for our students in both academics and extra curricular activities as possible.

The unique diversity of having pre-school through 12th grade in one building allows for learning and experiences that push beyond academics alone.

The HSD is a single building preschool through 12th grade that serves an enrollment of 135 students. With small class sizes and new updates to infrastructure and programming Harrington is constantly working to improve student experience and opportunities.

The single building houses a wing for elementary, a separate secondary wing with the two being separated by a full gym, indoor swimming pool, multipurpose room/cafeteria, music room and agriculture room and mechanics shop.

The Harrington School District has passionate qualifed teachers and staff that help students succeed. HSD offers many kinds of extracurricular activities to encourage students to develop socially, emotionally and physically in order to become well rounded citizens in our society.

We have a community, staff, parents and school board that are all striving towards providing the best opportunities and education possible for each of our students. We are seeking staff who want to help the students in our district thrive. We know a good fit will be with someone that has demonstrated integrity, honesty and the ability to communicate clearly and openly

The community regularly supports improvements that allow HSD to better serve each of our students.

With a bright future ahead of us we will continue to improve and build on the strong foundation that has been laid. We look forward to welcoming staff that will be partners in the coming years of this journey.
