We have received some inquiries about an alleged incident involving a certified schoolemployee over the summer. Please know that the District is well aware of the situation, thatthese are still just allegations involving a domestic disturbance and that there will be some court review on September 14.

We thoroughly explored whether the nature of the allegations/charges were sufficient enough to impact or impair our student and staff safety and determined it would not. Following review and guidance from authorities, including the Educational Service Department, state superintendent association, our risk management/insurance company, and our attorney, we were advised by all that the matter was not school-related did not involve students, and would not support district action against the employee. We’ve closely monitored the situation during the first week of school, and both the class and students are progressing well.
