Healthcare Leaders Scholarship
Based in Bellevue, WA, Nurse.org is seeking applications for the Healthcare Leaders Scholarship. To be eligible for the $1000 award, student must have a 3.0 GPA or above, be pursuing a degree related to healthcare and submit a 600-1000 word essay by Jan. 29th. Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW): Offers more than $20,000 in scholarships and grants for Washington state students or programs supporting construction industry-related fields. 2019 Student Scholarship applications or School/Organization Grant applications can be found online at www.BIAW.com or ­can be requested at education@biaw.com.

Scholarship or Grant applications must be postmarked by May 10, 2019.

EPSILON SIGMA ALPHA FOUNDATION:
Scholarships ranging from $500-$3000 for Washington State students. Minimum 3.0 GPA for most. See specific criteria for each scholarship. WASHINGTON STATE FAIR FOUNDATION BLUE RIBBON SCHOLARSHIP

The application will open on November 19, 2018, and close on February 11, 2019. Application: https://thefairfoundation.awardspring.com/

Since 2008 the Washington State Fair Foundation has awarded over 1 million in scholarships to students throughout the state. This past spring 41 scholarship awards valued at $101,000 were provided to high school seniors and adult learners in Washington. The Washington State Fair Foundation financially supports the scholarship and educational programs of the Fair, and preserves and improves the Fair for future generations. 

BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP:

WSECU scholarship:

  • Leadership 1000 scholarship:The Leadership 1000 Scholarship is $2,500 to $5,000 per year, for up to four years, for students who need assistance attending an eligible four-year college or university in Washington state. Washington State Opportunity Scholarship: More than 750 $1,000 scholarships to students who will be college freshman, sophomores, or juniors fall of the 2019-2020 school year to help in their pursuit of four-year degrees in the following eligible high demand programs of study: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) or Health Care. Renewable for four years, with an increase in the award amount once a student has reached college junior standing and verifies high demand major.   • Lucille I. Hudon Scholarship: Applicants must be entering their first year of post-secondary education, have maintained a 3.0 GPA in the last two years and have resided for two years in a qualifying county (includes Lincoln County and others in our region)
  • Mark and Kay Burkett Scholarship: Applicants must be American citizens demonstrating financial need and academic achievement. Preference shall be given to applicants with community service experience. Must reside in or have attended school within the geographic region served by Innovia Foundation (our region is included), recipients may re-apply.
  • Wilson Farm/Mondovi Grange Scholarship: Applicants must be high school seniors or graduates of Lincoln County, WA school.  Recipients may re-apply.

WASHINGTON STATE SCHOOL RETIREES' ASSOCIATION:

NW FARM CREDIT SERVICES: Northwest FCS is committed to higher education and helping customers' and employees' children achieve their educational goals. Scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors, current college students and those pursuing graduate degrees. All Scholarships are $2000 each. Go to: Northwest FCS Website

CCS Foundation Scholarships:
One application for numerous scholarships for students enrolled or planning on enrolling at Community Colleges of Spokane (SCC, SFCC) for the upcoming academic year and have a 2.0 GPA or higher. HARRINGTON LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS: This scholarship is a one stop shopping site for local scholarships from Harrington. You will find the forms under the tab: LOCAL SCHOLARSHIP. This requires several steps, so please be certain you gather everything you need.

McGregor Scholarship:This program has been developed specifically for high school seniors, graduating in 2017, within eastern Washington, north central Idaho and northeastern Oregon, who will be entering college in an agricultural field of study. The company offers up to three individual $1,000 scholarships upon the completion of enrollment in either academic or vocational college. Judge W.M. Nevins Scholarship (Veterans of Foreign Wars):
Scholarship for students in Lincoln County. Seniors were given copies of the scholarship. Please complete the application and send to the address on the application.DEADLINE: MARCH 31,2019


Marsden Scholarship:The George and Dorothy Marsden Scholarship Fund helps academically promising students from eastern Washington and northern Idaho attend top quality institutions that would otherwise be cost prohibitive. The award is up to $30,000 over four years with satisfactory progress toward a degree and available for any accredited institution. Davenport Union Warehouse Company: $500 scholarship for students taking agricultural related classes in college. See Ginny Lathem for application. Deadline: March 31, 2018

Inland Northwest Car Club Scholarship: Scholarship amount is $1500.00. 2.5 gpa to qualify. Ginny gave copies to interested seniors. Deadline: April 1, 2018


Pacific Northwest Grain and Feed Association:
To qualify, must be connected with PNWGFA membership in some way. Up to $2000.00. For application go to: PNWGFA Website.

HighLine Grain Growers, LLC: Two $500 scholarships. Applicant should be an immediate family member of a patron of HighLine Grain Growers. See Ginny Lathem for an application. 

Bessie and Godfrey Thompson Scholarship:For worthy students who reside in Lincoln County and have graduated and received a diploma from a high school in Lincoln County, and have been accepted at a college, technical school, or other school of higher learning. Seniors were given copies. See Ginny Lathem for another. Deadline: April 15, 2019

Martha Hall Educational Trust Scholarship:The Martha Hall Trust was established by Martha Hall to provide scholarships of Lincoln County, Washington. This application is not on line and is a hard copy. Seniors were given copies. Please see Ginny Lathem if you need another.

INLAND NORTHWEST DAIRY WOMEN: Male or Female pursuing studies in Agriculture, Nutritionist or dairy Food Science. GPA 3.0 or higher. See Ginny Lathem for application.

Inland Power and Light Excellence Award:
Awarding 15 $1000 scholarships, exclusively to Inland Power members and their children. Recipients may reapply the following year, with at least five of the 15 scholarships awarded reserved for new applicants. Visit Inland Power Website for more information and an application. AgLink Incorporated Scholarship: Ten $750 scholarships to qualifying seniors from area districts; see complete listing on scholarship application. Each applicant or his/her immediate family must be an AgLink patron (included purchasing food or fuel from Traders Express in Davenport, items from Reardan Hardware, or products from Ag Link, Inc.). Ritzville Warehouse Foundation Scholarship: Open to seniors graduation from a high school in the Ritzville warehouse Co. trade area. Ginny has handed out applications. Deadline: April 2, 2019

Pacific Northwest Vegetable Scholarship: Up to $5000 in scholarship money. You need NOT be a member to qualify. Ginny Lathem gave information to seniors. Deadline: April 28, 2018


Washington State Hay Growers Association: One $2500 scholarship. You need NOT be a member to qualify. Ginny Lathem gave information to the seniors. Deadline: April 28, 2018


Lincoln County Historical Society: The Donald Lee Spinning Scholarship is primarily for students interested in agriculture, home economics, agricultural business, agriculture education or closely related fields. Award is $500. To apply, see Ginny Lathem.

Grange Supply Company of Odessa: The applicant must be an established member of the Grange Supply Company of Odessa or a child of a member. See Ginny Lathem for application.
